Established in 2019, the Network of Open Orgs (NOO) comprises numerous organisations and leaders in open education. The NOO is coordinated by Open Education Global (OEG) and aims to support the implementation of the UNESCO OER Recommendation.
Open Education Global organizes and hosts monthly online meetings that are open to all interested parties. The meeting agenda typically includes:
- Instigation of, and updates on, collaborative projects in support of the UNESCO OER Recommendation
- Updates on open education activities and events being undertaken by each specific organization
- Planning, promoting, and providing Network of Open Org presentations and activities at events
- Discussing big topics of collective interest such as Open Science, WikiData, and AI
Participating organizations collaborate on setting an agenda and taking notes for each meeting.
